Projects
The Little Compton Tree Committee is involved in several projects each year throughout the town. Here are some of our most recent and ongoing projects.
Veteran’s Field Tree Plantings
With the kind help of your donations, the Little Compton Tree Committee was able to plant nine new trees in the Veteran’s field and Wilbur School area. These trees will grow and thrive and provide shade for years into the future! This project is active and ongoing.

Wilbur Woods Tree Caging
Wilbur Woods is a treasure in our town and a ready spot to view our unique Coastal Oak-Holly forest. Members of the Little Compton Tree Committee, along with volunteers, have worked to cage saplings to prevent those young trees from being eaten by our deer population. Next time you are strolling through Wilbur Woods, see if you can spot these cages!
